ITA – Claudia Tarantola, è professore associato di Statistica I suoi principali interessi di ricerca sono: Copula Modelling Bayesian clustering techniques, Bayesian Networks, Bayesian Statistics, Data Science, Graphical Models, Marginal Models, Markov Chain Monte Carlo methods, Statistical Models for Financial Risks. Ha pubblicato articoli scientifici in noti giornali internazionali quali: Bayesian Analysis, European Journal of Operational research, Expert Systems with application, Journal of the Royal Statistical Society Series B, Quantitative Finance. Ha preso parte a vari programmi di ricerca, sia nazionali che internazionali. Dal 2018 è Presidente della Hermes University Network (http://hermes-universities.eu/). Da settembre 2020 è membro del Comitato Direttivo dell’Azione Cost “FinTech and Artificial Intelligence in Finance-Towards a Transparent Financial Industry (CA19130). Svolge il ruolo di referee per diverse riviste scientifiche tra cui Bayesian Analysis, Biometrika, European Journal of Operational Journal della Royal Statistical Society serie B, tra gli altri .

Dr Kevin Mac Gabhann, has almost 20 years of experience in academic and senior management in international and higher education.
Born and raised in Dublin, Kevin began his international career in the United States and Japan before arriving in Strasbourg in 2000. Kevin joined EM Strasbourg Business School in 2003 and was promoted to Associate Professor in 2009. He became Director of International Relations in 2012 and Associate Dean of International Relations in 2014. He is responsible for developing the business school’s international relations strategy and oversees international student affairs, study abroad programs, over 20 double degree programs, several summer schools and short-term customer made programs, to 500 outgoing students and 700 incoming students within a network of 240 partner universities in 52 countries.

Kevin obtained his Master’s degree in University College Dublin and earned his Ph.D in Management from the University of Strasbourg and his thesis entitled Managing Ethno-cultural Diversity in Health Care Service Delivery: The Irish Experience was published in 2015.
In 2019, Kevin was elected the Managing Director of HERMES – a network of 26 universities in 15 countries that have bilateral double degrees in Management, and collaborate together on joint research projects and exchange of best practices in international higher education.
Kevin specialises in the field of Intercultural Human Resources Management. He lectures in International Human Resource Management, Intercultural Management, Management of International Teams, Diversity Management and International Negotiations.
He has also undertaken visiting scholar positions in many prestigious schools, and most recently at Trinity College Dublin, University College of Denver and Marquette University and frequently is requested to give lectures to specific groups from institutions such as University of Adelaide, Texas A&M, Pepperdine University, Boston College, Macquarie University, University of Brighton, Henley Business School, University of Reading.
As Director of International Relations he is among many tasks, responsible for negotiating new institutional partnerships, visiting EM Strasbourg Business school’s partner universities and representing the school at different international conferences. Most recently, Kevin presented at the 2019 EAIE conference in Helsinki on the Greening of Internationalisation: Student Mobility and on sustainability and mobility at the annual British Council’s conference in Berlin. In 2020 he presented a session entitled “The role of networks and consortia in creating successful partnerships” at the HEURO annual workshop.
A qualified Intercultural Practitioner, Kevin also specialises in cross-cultural management consulting and has worked with several multinational companies such as Merck-Milipore and Steelcase.
